KIMB - Booster Club Basics

Why become a booster member?  The Kennedy Instrumental Music Booster’s organization is an important way for parents to support our band and orchestra students. Booster memberships are our main source of funding.

How do I become a booster?  It’s easy. Print out the Membership Registration Form and mail it in with your fee.

What do the Kennedy Instrumental Music Boosters do?  KIMB works hard to support the fine musicians at Kennedy High School by:

  • Raising funds to purchase and repair instruments for students to rent and to purchase items such as music stands, chairs, and music folders.
  • Providing director stipends for extra-curricular groups, such as jazz band, KPG.
  • Providing funds for student awards, scholarships and master classes.
  • Obtaining volunteers to help at concerts with tickets, ushers, hospitality.
  • And helping with anything else the directors need!

Is there any obligation involved in becoming a booster member?  No!  But we hope you will attend the  Booster Meetings: Our next meeting is on Thursday, November 19, in the Band Room.

Donations:  You are always welcome to make a tax-deductible donation in addition to your booster membership.  All donors will be listed in our concert programs.
