After returning to the States, Mr. Engebretson attended Northwestern University and earned a Master’s Degree in Saxophone Performance followed by another Master’s Degree in Music Education.

Following teaching stints in Chaska, Eden Prairie, and Red Wing, Mr. Engebretson landed at Kennedy, where he has had the time of his life teaching Bloomington’s finest students. In addition to teaching at Kennedy, he is the saxophone instructor at Gustavus, proving that you can go home.
